This consultancy has been developed to provide state-of-art expertise, knowledge and advice to government agencies, industry and academia on scientific aspects and project management of the control and prevention of zoonoses, particularly food-borne zoonoses, and animal health.
Services Offered
- Provision of expert advice on zoonotic disease particularly foodborne zoonses.
- Independent expert analysis of research and development including project proposals, outputs and interpretation
- Project management at the international level including experimental design and planning, co-ordination, trouble shooting, monitoring and reporting
- Microbiological risk assessment
- Systematic reviews of published literature
- Horizon scanning and novel technology assessment
- Education of non-scientific groups ie schools and public audiences
Experience
- Over 35 years of research experience in a board range of fields (see CV)
- Working with academic, public and private sectors
- International -level expertise in food-borne zoonoses
- Planning, implementation and management of EU-funded projects in FP4 and FP6
